Kenneth R. Cohen is a member of the law firm of Davidson, Sochor, Ragsdale & Cohen, LLC. His practice includes business law, estate planning and administration, asset protection and elder law with special emphasis in taxation.

Mr. Cohen also practices in federal and state courts where he has successfully litigated sales tax, income tax and estate tax matters. Mr. Cohen has been appointed by the Court on numerous occasions to serve as legal representative in guardianship matters. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar, the Federal Bar and is authorized to practice before the United States Tax Court. He is listed in "Who's Who of American Attorneys".

Clients appreciate Mr. Cohen's practical experience and sound business advice. He is a deal-maker who finds practical ways to structure transactions, from sophisticated leases to mergers and acquisitions, licensing agreements, and employment compensation arrangements. Mr. Cohen has been active in the Tax Section of the New Jersey State Bar Society. He served as Chairman of the Estate Tax Section and also as Chairman of the Income Tax Section.

He was a member of the Special Task Force on Partnership Taxation to ensure that the New Jersey partnership statute was in compliance with Internal Revenue Regulations.

Mr. Cohen has lectured extensively to accountants and to attorneys regarding business and income tax issues. Mr. Cohen has taught Estate Taxation for the Morris Community Adult School. He serves as a guest lecturer at Fairleigh Dickinson University and as a panelist for tax seminars sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the National Business Institute and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Cohen serves on the Board of Trustees of Montville Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization which provides grants for educational endeavors.

Mr. Cohen graduated from Rutgers College with a bachelor's degree in
economics. He received his law degree from Rutgers Law School and has a masters degree in taxation from New York University Law School.
